Simple Home Puja Guide
Ganesh is always worshipped first — before any other deity in any puja.
Bathe and wear yellow or orange clothes on Wednesdays.
Set up a picture or murti of Ganesh.
Offer durva grass (three-bladed) — especially dear to Ganesh.
Offer modak (sweet dumplings), coconut, and jaggery as prasad.
Offer red flowers and red sandalwood paste.
Light a diya and incense.
Recite Ganesh Chalisa or Ganesh Atharvashirsha.
Chant 'Om Gam Ganapataye Namah' 108 times.
Perform aarti and distribute modak prasad.
