The Ideal Man, Avatar of Vishnu

Ram is the seventh avatar of Vishnu and the hero of the Ramayana. He is the embodiment of dharma, righteousness, and ideal conduct. Worshipped on Sundays and especially on Ram Navami, he represents the perfect son, husband, king, and devotee.

Bathe and wear green or yellow clothes on Sundays.

Set up a picture or murti of Ram, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman together.

Offer prasad — panchamrit, fruits, or kheer.

Recite the Ramayana — the Sundar Kand is especially auspicious.
