Simple Home Puja Guide
Wake early, bathe, and wear clean clothes — ideally red or orange on Tuesdays.
Clean the puja space and set up a picture or murti of Hanuman.
Light a diya (lamp) with mustard oil or ghee.
Offer red flowers, red sindoor (vermilion), and betel leaves.
Offer prasad — boondi, jaggery, or banana.
Recite the Hanuman Chalisa (40 verses) with devotion.
Chant 'Om Hanumate Namah' 108 times using a mala.
Read or listen to the Sundar Kand from the Ramayana if time permits.
Distribute prasad to family members.
Observe a fast (vrat) on Tuesdays — eating only once, avoiding non-vegetarian food.
